The owner of Bright Forest, Stephen P. Sherwood, has more than 20 years experience in all major aspects of video and film production. He does Video Playback on shows such as "Necessary Roughness" and "Rectify" and has also worked on films including "Identity Thief" and "Let's Be Cops." With 50+ credits on IMDB, he is active in the Atlanta Independent Film scene and directs a bi-weekly screenwriter's workshop.
As a Writer, Director and Editor, he has received multiple awards over the years. Most currently, his science fiction short film "Passing" has been shown at eight film festivals and has received awards for "Best Sci-Fi Short" "Best Cinematography" "Best Sound Design" and "Audience Favorite." "Passing" has also been accepted to the Phoenix Film Festival and it will screen there April 4th & 6th, here's the schedule.
"The Rubicon", another sci-fi short, was shown at three film festivals and received awards from the Accolade, Best Shorts, and Indie Fest competitions. His fan-flick short "Trysts" was featured at the 2012 Dragon*Con International Short Film Festival. To see the trailers for all three films go HERE.
